Appetite for Happiness

Here at Bamboozle, we're driven by a simple mission: to share good health and happiness with our whole community. Our mantra says it best — eat well, live well. We believe that when you nourish yourself with food that's both wholesome and delicious, you get the energy you need to make smart choices all day long. Those choices, in turn, lay the groundwork for a healthier, happier life. That appetite for happiness is exactly what motivates everything we do.

A little about the owner…
Lynn, owner of Bamboozle Cafe
Aside from her two dogs, Lynn's greatest passions have always been health, food, fitness, and travel. Seven years ago she opened the downtown Bamboozle Café, aiming to make fresh, healthy food easier for everyone to enjoy.

The name “Bamboozle” came from a playful idea: we want to “Bamboozle” you into eating healthy. Our flavors are so bright and delicious that trading that cheeseburger for a bowl of Beef Pho Soup and a Tropical Fresh Roll won't feel like a sacrifice at all.
Fresh healthy food at Bamboozle Cafe
Many people assume that healthy food is bland and expensive. According to this Harvard Research study, it runs about $1.50 more per day than eating junk food. Over time, though, the financial and physical toll of a poor diet can be devastating.
Vietnamese style dish at Bamboozle Cafe
Lynn didn't grow up with much money, but she says her mom cooked like a five-star chef, so the family always ate like kings. At Bamboozle she serves top-quality ingredients at the best possible value, so guests can savor the same Vietnamese-style food she grew up on without stretching their budget.

Research also indicates that a strong sense of community is closely tied to physical and mental health. Lynn spends more hours at the Café and Tea Lounge than at her own house, so she welcomes every guest as if inviting them into her living room.

It's a spot where professionals grab a quick bite on their lunch break, locals kick off the weekend with open mic night, friends relax over board games, couples meet for date night, families with little ones enjoy story time, exercisers refuel with something healthy after yoga or boot camp — and everyone feels at home.

Lynn already encourages healthy habits through her two restaurants, and with this blog we hope to connect with an even wider audience. Future posts will explore a broad range of topics, and we welcome your suggestions too! Our hope is that it inspires you to live a positive lifestyle and find balance in your life.
